Hi, my name is NJ Talingting.

I’m currently working as a Statistics intern at the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and a maintainer of several spatial R packages published on the Comprehensive R Archive Network (CRAN).

My years in public office as a Sangguniang Kabataan Official and my studies of statistics near the Cebu Port Authority has deeply grounded my work so that they meet the reality of archipelagic life.

Outside work, I’ve founded PinasR, a centralized repository for R packages made by Filipinos to champion reproducible science in the Philippines. You may find my core spatial tools at CRAN.
